Job Description

 

This sales driven role is responsible for prospecting, managing the sales funnel/cycle, and building customer relationships.  You will understand customers needs in detail and define how the Encircle solutions can meet those needs. Using your strong persuasion skills to generate leads, demonstrate the Encircle platform, manage pilots and deliver creative proposals will be the catalyst to closing sales.

 

The successful candidate is responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned sales objectives and quotas. This includes working with customers and prospects to understand their strategic vision, objectives and needs while aligning our products, services and solutions where opportunities exist. Through strong business acumen this role will demonstrate a solid understanding of the industry drivers and execute on business development initiatives to grow sales.

 

What you offer:

  • Ability to navigate multiple organizational levels in the insurance industry and gain access to line of business and executive decision makers, resulting in revenue generation for the company's software

  • Establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, key contact points within a prospect including; C-Level Suite (CEO, CFO, COO, CIO), Head of Claims, Claims Director, Procurement/Supply Chain and similar roles

  • Drive, conscientiousness, and perseverance to conduct outbound sales contacts daily

  • A strong prospecting cadence to methodically create a diverse set of leads with focus on building both quality and size

  • Direct the resources required to sell in a team environment leveraging entire organization

  • Develop and execute engagement plans for new opportunities and regular account plans for large strategic insurance accounts

 

 

Requirements:

  • Develop and manage a weekly sales forecast in line with set targets

  • Outstanding communication & listening skills

  • Ability to educate and effectively communicate the value of company solutions through remote demonstrations

  • Qualify sales leads and develop rapport, credibility and trust with prospective customer contacts while identifying decision makers and key influencers

  • Experience presenting across a range of audiences: front line personnel to senior executives

  • Ability to engage in business consulting activities, capable of conducting detailed prospect interviews.

  • Able to effectively overcome obstacles within the sales cycle and come up with creative solutions

  • Team oriented with ability to succeed in entrepreneurial environment

  • Work closely with other team members in Sales, Finance, Product, Client Services and Customer Support.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Previous experience and/or relationships within the insurance industry highly preferred although not essential for the right candidate

  • Minimum of 8 years experience in direct sales to director level and higher with a proven track record of achievement and stability

  • Able to effectively overcome obstacles within the sales cycle and come up with creative solutions

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills

  • Intelligent, Energetic,Tenacious and Determined with a ‘can do’ attitude

  • Software/SaaS industry experience would be a strong plus



This Sales Executive role will report to the COO.  Our compensation structure provides significant bonus for achieving and exceeding sales results.
