Business Development Representative (BDR)

We’re leading the $2 trillion dollar property and casualty insurance industry out of the dark ages of pen and paper processes, into the digital age of transparency and empowerment. Our easy-to-use mobile and web software enables thousands of restoration contractors and insurance professionals to create efficiency, optimize resources, and maximize productivity. We’ve got some huge goals and are looking to add new members to our all-star team to help get us there!

 

What’s this role about? 

Our mid-market team is the bedrock of our sales organization targeting restoration contractors within the insurance ecosystem. As a BDR you will contribute to the opportunity potential and scale of the already successful mid-market team. This position reports directly to the VP, Sales.


What You’ll Be Responsible For?


  • Reach out to leads to convey Encircle’s value proposition
  • Convert qualified leads into scheduled product demos with your Account Executives
  • Collaborate with team members to share and learn from best practices 
  • Execute regional and account based lead generation strategies
  • Crush quota

  • You’ve done some selling in the past and have the ability and desire to become great at software sales 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You want to win and you find motivation in temporary setbacks
  • You are fearless and always willing to try new things
  • You don’t believe in settling, you find ways to overachieve and keep improving
  • Your ability to learn is off the charts and you are hungry for more
  • You love connecting with people online, on the phone, and face-to-face
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment 

 

YOUR BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE


  • Experience within a high-growth SaaS start-up environment
  • 1-2 years in any sales, business development or similar role
  • Knowledge of Salesforce
  • SaaS and B2B experience preferred 
  • Strong verbal communication and writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize 
  • Intelligent, Energetic, Tenacious and Competitive
  • Experience/knowledge of the restoration or insurance industry is a plus

 

WHO YOU WILL BE REPORTING TO

The BDR will report to the VP, Sales.
